Not so long ago nursing, teaching and clerical work were among the few career options available to women. Times have changed. Now non-traditional occupations are among the choices women have, offering them new opportunities, challenges and rewards.Construction is one field that is actively recruiting women. Through the efforts of government, industry and organizations like the Canadian Construction Women, there is a commitment to increasing women's representation in the field.
