Happy New Year! That may seem like a strange greeting considering that it is now March, but since the CCW Annual General Meeting was held on February 21st, we really are just at the start of our programming year. For those of you who were not able to join us at the AGM, you were missed! We enjoyed an evening of tasty food and lively conversation in a private room at the Water Street Café in Gastown. The board members and I outlined our plans for 2012-13 year. First and foremost, we will be maintaining our successful program of tours, educational seminars and networking events. We will also be seeking to expand our active member base, exploring new member benefits, updating some of our communication materials, exploring new trades-only events, and evaluating options to invest our growing sponsorship funds. It is going to be a very exciting year. We look forward to seeing you at our events and to sharing further updates with you throughout the year.
