On February 24th, the Canadian Construction Women held its widely successful annual general meeting. Our past directors and committee members with the involvement and participation of our membership, and the generous support of our sponsors, delivered a thorough report of their contributions towards the continued success of the organization.

Thank you to all members who took the time to attend CCW's AGM and vote, we are pleased to officially welcome our new board of directors.  Please join us in congratulating our latest additions to the Board.

New Canadian Construction Women President, Lindsey Nelson from DIALOG Design

"The last few years have been an exciting time for CCW and I am very proud to be a part of that success.  We have rebranded, reimagined, and restrategized who we are and seen incredible gains in what we bring to our members.

As the incoming President, this success brings both challenge and opportunity.  I celebrate our achievements, as we have made huge strides.  Now, I also look to focus in on what has brought real value to our members and sponsors.
We have an organization filled with ambitious, motivated, and collaborative people and we want to focus their energy in the best capacity.  I look forward to this year as a 'best of' CCW and am excited for the success still to come", says newly elected President, Lindsey Nelson of DIALOG.

"[I am] excited to be working with the 2015 CCW Board and am looking forward to creating an opportunity for tradeswomen to connect through the CCW," adds Barb Barbour Co-Director of Trades and Project Manager at GBS Construction Managers Inc.

"I have seen firsthand how welcoming, involved and committed CCW's Board of Directors is to support and advance women at all levels in their careers.  With directors from different backgrounds and sectors, our 2015 Board will more effectively support our commitment to reach more women who are considering a career in the building industry.  I look forward to helping with the expansion of our reach and community so that more women will benefit,” says Karina Eva, new Director of Communications, Owner and Business Development Manager of Amando Natural Stone.

"CCW's women are individuals who wish to inspire and /be inspired by other like-minded individuals. CCW is a growing platform bringing women of all levels in construction together, sharing a common goal of unity through support and encouragement. There are no limits when looking  at
your future in construction, with CCW you can build your community," says Kirsten Roberson, Director of Membership, and Practice Lead - Construction at Strive Recruitment
